| About Us |
| The Church of the Larger Fellowship Unitarian Universalist (CLF), a church without geographical boundaries, is an online and by mail Unitarian Universalist congregation. We are a diverse community of over 3500 members and friends world-wide, ministering to people of all gender identities and expressions, abilities, races, sexual orientations, and economic statuses. The Worthy Now Prison Ministry Program of the CLF offers spiritual resources to over 2000 incarcerated Unitarian Universalists. We believe that all are worthy of love, right now, just the way they are.
Our staff is located throughout the United States and we maintain office space in Boston, MA. We like to say that our congregation is “always in beta,” meaning that we encourage experimentation and creativity and have a deep well of grace when things do not work as intended. Unitarian Universalism is a non-creedal religion focused on ethical living and spiritual deepening. We believe in the inherent worth and dignity of all people, and we lift up the interdependent web of all life. The Church of the Larger Fellowship seeks to connect Unitarian Universalists, deepen their spirituality, and support them in living with courage to act on our principles. We are passionate about our involvement in racial justice, the Black Lives Matter movement, prison ministry and the prison abolition movement, all in the goal of collective liberation. |

Working at the CLF
The Church of the Larger Fellowship is a congregation without walls or borders. We meet our 3,000 members through mail, phone, email, and social media. We like to say that our congregation is “always in beta,” meaning that we encourage experimentation and creativity and have a deep well of grace when things do not work as intended.
Our staff members and learning fellows are not geographically bound. CLF membership includes over 1,800 incarcerated Unitarian Universalists, whose interaction with our congregation is constricted by the dehumanizing systems of incarceration. For more information, visit clfuu.org, worship with us (clfuu.org/cometoworship), and/or join our Mighty Networks-based community network (community.clfuu.org).
We are passionate about our involvement in racial justice, the Black Lives Matter movement, prison ministry and the prison abolition movement.
While it is not generally required or expected that an applicant/employee identify as a Unitarian Universalist (UU) or be a member of a UU congregation in order to work at the CLF, all CLF staff members are expected to perform their job duties in accordance with UU and CLF values, principles and mission.
