Annual Meeting

Happening June 7, 2026 at 6:30pm ET/3:30pm PT on ZOOM

The idea that all people should have a say in the decisions that impact them is a core theological commitment of Unitarian Universalism and part of our shared values of Unitarian Universalism. At the CLF, we take that commitment seriously by ensuring all our members, both free world and incarcerated, have the chance to vote on congregational matters.

Every  June, the CLF holds a congregational meeting to conduct the business of the congregation as specified in the CLF Bylaws (Article VII, Sec. 1 & 2). At the Annual Meeting, CLF leadership will report on the past year (and how our programs and ministries relate to our mission) and our financial status. The Nominating Committee will put forth for your vote a slate of candidates for positions on our Board of Trustees and Nominating Committee. Some Annual Meetings may include votes on other items, like changes to the Bylaws.

An Invitation from CLF Board Chair

Dear Members of the Church of the Larger Fellowship UU,

I hope this note finds you resilient and rooted in community. Our annual meeting is coming up, which means it is once again time to engage in our democratic process. Especially in these times of rising authoritarianism, it’s important for all of us to make our voices heard and our votes count at every opportunity available, including in our faith communities.

Enclosed is a packet which includes information on the two items that we will be voting on at our annual meeting:

  • The slate of nominees that the Nominating Committee is putting forth for our elected officers;
  • A motion to ordain to the Unitarian Universalist ministry, cristy cardinal, an affiliated minister of CLF and volunteer prison ministry chaplain.

If you are able, please attend our zoom meeting on June 7, 2026 at 6:30pm ET and vote at the meeting. We hope that you’ll join us immediately after our annual meeting for our Sunday Weekly Worship. Register to attend at clfuu.org/joinannual-meeting/ and you will be sent the zoom link.

If you are not able to attend the meeting, please fill out the ballot included in these materials and mail it (address on ballot) so that you can participate in our democratic process.

In faith,

Julica Hermann De La Fuente

Previous Years' Annual Meeting Updates

Each year in the spring, CLF members around the world take time to reflect on the spiritual grounding, connection, and care they’ve found within their congregation that works for a just and liberatory world, and are intentional in renewing their financial and time commitment to CLF. We do this together, as a community, because it is all of us together that makes the CLF life saving ministry possible.

Please check back here each spring to begin your annual renewal process. Until then, keep centering love.

If you feel moved to make a donation before the spring annual renewal time, please click the donate button. We will gratefully receive your donation.
