Annual Renewal

Every April, CLF members around the world come together for the CLF Annual Member Stewardship Renewal season — a time to reflect on the spiritual grounding, connection, and care we have found within this beloved community, and to renew our commitment to the shared ministry of the Church of the Larger Fellowship.

Please check back here each spring to participate in the Annual Renewal process and join fellow CLFers in renewing the flame of this community together. Until then, keep centering love.

If you feel moved to support the CLF before the spring renewal season, we warmly welcome your donation at any time.

Why should you renew your CLF membership?

Whether it’s a moment of solace during online worship, the deep companionship of a covenant group, or the inspiration sparked by Quest Monthly, the CLF is a spiritual home that sustains and connects us where you are.

Each year, your renewal affirms your commitment to this beloved community—and to Unitarian Universalism without walls. By renewing your membership and making your annual contribution, you help ensure that CLF continues to offer life-saving ministry, spiritual nourishment, and a spiritual home to all who seek it.

The CLF and its members fill a need unlike many other UU churches: We have no geographical boundary and provide spiritual community for those for whom a traditional local congregation isn't the right fit, including incarcerated UUs. We provide flexible weekly worship services - with live, live rebroadcast, and on-demand options, weekly talk show, and maintain a self-paid social network site for our UU community without ads or algorithms. We create community that includes people who lack access to technology, like our incarcerated members, via printing and mailing. No wonder we are one of the largest and fastest growing UU congregations in the country – we work hard to share Unitarian Universalism with everyone.

Delivering ministry and building community this way means our funding challenges are unique.  Our ministry runs with very little staff support - with just a few part-time employees and a Lead Ministry Team that is paid part-time despite giving much more to the CLF. Help us align our values with our budget. With a generous annual stewardship gift, we can provide stability for the CLF.  Please join me in financially supporting this radical, moral, human experiment that is the Church of the Larger Fellowship.

Interested in becoming a member of the CLF?

Becoming a CLF member means stepping into a sacred circle of connection and care that spans continents and time zones. Membership is both a spiritual commitment and a powerful act of stewardship — ensuring that love, hope, and Unitarian Universalist community remain accessible to all, everywhere.

Together, we sustain a ministry without walls.

Each year in the spring, CLF members around the world take time to reflect on the spiritual grounding, connection, and care they’ve found within their congregation that works for a just and liberatory world, and are intentional in renewing their financial and time commitment to CLF. We do this together, as a community, because it is all of us together that makes the CLF life saving ministry possible.

Please check back here each spring to begin your annual renewal process. Until then, keep centering love.
